What is a Salesforce Summit Partner?
Salesforce restructured its partner programme. It moved from four tiers to two: Select and Summit. Summit is the top tier.
The change matters because the old system rewarded points — certifications accumulated, revenue logged, badges claimed. The new system rewards outcomes. To hold Summit status today, a partner must demonstrate verified live Agentforce deployments in production, pass CSAT-embedded qualification at the customer level, and complete quarterly outcome reviews with Salesforce.
The practical difference for a buyer: a partner with legacy Platinum status earned it by accumulating credentials over years. A partner holding Summit status today has been reassessed against a delivery-and-outcomes standard. Those are different things.
One thing Summit status does not guarantee: that the senior people who sell the engagement will stay on your project. This is the most common complaint about Salesforce implementation engagements. In [YEAR], Bluprintx acquired Skie, an Australian Salesforce specialist. The acquisition was covered by ARN. Skie had built a recognised delivery practice in the Australian market; that capability, and the people behind it, transferred to Bluprintx.
